On 13 June 2025, the Schumpeter School of Business and Economics at the University of Wuppertal awarded the Schumpeter School Award.
Saras D. Sarasvathy is Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Virginia and one of the world's most influential researchers in the field of entrepreneurial thinking. With the development of the theory of effectuation, she has significantly shaped the understanding of entrepreneurial decision-making processes. Her work is considered ground-breaking and has received numerous international awards.
